Kira K is in the House!

Kira Dulaney, of Kira K Designs, brings her expertise and her trunk show to the Goat for hands-on instruction and the opportunity to see and touch her fantastic designs.

Kira's designs can be found on Ravelry at http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/sources/kira-k-designs

Some of her most popular designs are her Bell Curve and Sawtooth skirts, her Belle Époque Shawl, as well as sweaters, accessories and tops for children.

She uses a variety of yarn types and weights and includes crochet in her designs as well, making her a well-versed and popular designer.

While her classes this weekend are already booked up, her samples and patterns are on display at Got Your Goat and she'll be happy to give you advise on yarns choices for the best effect for your pattern choice.

Come by and visit today if you missed us on Saturday. Check out the samples in person and we'll be happy to answer your questions. We'll be open until her last class wraps up at 3pm today, Sunday, February 7th!

We're here! No phone!

The good news is that our move is done and our grand opening opening on Saturday, October 3rd, was a huge success. Many of you came by to visit us at the new shop.
The bad news is that our GYG phone is not hooked up yet, so we cannot pick up your phone calls yet. The disruption is temporary (maybe 10 days) and our phone number will not be changing.

If you have not had a chance to visit us yet, we're keeping the same hours in our new location, so please come by and check us out!

We've got gorgeous new yarn from Shibui on display - Staccato,Pebble, and Maai, all blends of Merino yarn with silk, cashmere, and/or alpaca for a superior quality and a luxurious knitting experience.

We've also added more yarn to our 40% discount bins- many of our Saturday visitors found great deals and went home with surprise winnings.

Our space features great sitting areas to look over pattern books, get advise from other knitters, plan your next knitting project or just chat with friends. Come by and say "Hello" to Mo!
